PROPOSED 1 BLOCK OF MIX DEVELOPMENT (74 STOREY) AT LOT 195, SEKSYEN 58, JALAN PINANG, WILAYAH PERKEKUTUAN KUALA LUMPUR FOR MERRS. MABRUR LAND SDN BHD
Jakel Tower is a proposed 74-storey building comprising of upscale mixed development. It is located on a 1.32 acre land fronting KLCC park the world renowned KLCC Petronas Twin Towers.
Conceived as a vertical city: interconnected mixed-use towers accommodating premium office space, a 5-star hotel, high-end serviced apartment, retail space, a gallery & exhibition centre that are directly connected to the existing KL Convention Centre.
The various programs of this urban complex are organized into distinct blocks, providing clarity, character and synergy to each one of them. Volumes are designed to be hanging off the emotively decorated core that anchors and ties the distinctive forms together harmoniously by working on the larger volumes at the bottom, and smaller volumes at the higher altitude. Forms are skewed and angled to create a recognized building silhouette and aim to amplify the uniqueness of the KL skyline.
The stacked blocks are set apart vertically to house sky landscape terraces and lobbies in the sky. A hint of dynamism can be seen from the elevated blocks, enhancing the spaciousness and openness of the green area in the sky. The landscape in the sky is an homage to the celebrated KLCC Park.
At street level, the entire level is designed to house programs that create generous pedestrian access and transparent visual connectivity from the main road to the KLCC Park.
Sustainability features are incorporated throughout the project through careful environmental analysis of sun, wind, and micro-climate conditions and the integration of low-impact passive energy strategies. The development is designed to sustainability standards for “GREEN BUILDING INDEX”(GBI) Certification.
This proposed development has a Gross Floor Area (GFA) of approximately 1,200,000 ft2 and a Gross Development Value (GDV) of approximately RM1.44 billion.
